Marina Christopher is a versatile, up and coming artist in the Seattle music scene. Her skill, cheery nature and work ethic continue to keep Marina busy as a freelance bassist in many musical styles. Marina is also an accomplished vocalist, earning a spot as a finalist in the 2017 Seattle-Kobe Female Jazz Vocalist contest and performing at Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley, and a special mention at the same event in 2018.

Amateur eyes is a rock band founded in Saline, Michigan in 2012 by John Pederson. The name is a reference to the poem “When I Heard The Learn’d Astronomer” by Walt Whitman. during his time at the University of Michigan, John’s love for music made it difficult for him to care about school, and after earning grades that reflected that, he took an indefinite hiatus from academia do justice to the songs that had been trapped in his head for so long. amateur eyes’ debut album “i” was recorded in Cleveland, Ohio with Dave Douglas of Relient K and was released in Ann Arbor, MI on March 28th, 2015. “i” promises nostalgia and guitar centric, catchy tunes. Now residing in the Pacific Northwest, John is writing and preparing for amateur eyes’ sophomore release.

A Seattle native and Portland State University grad, Dee Lew is a lyricist who rocks the mic with slappin’ beats, intellectual rhymes, and a humble attitude.
